Aloha!
Remember that we're closed on the 24th and 25th. Lara and "Mrs. Claus" are waiting to get you some drinks! Come on over! Hot drinks! LOTS of rum!

Yeah, that's the best we could do with a camera phone, and me holding a mag lite up as "studio lighting".
Mrs. Claus bravely made it about six hours in the 6" heel patent leather boots before her feet went on strike, which was a lot longer than I thought she'd be able to in those things. I'm sure she's hobbled today.
At any rate, it was a lovely night, and cheers to all the familiar faces who made it out to say hello and share in a little holiday cheer. Thanks again, everyone, and enjoy your holidays!
Mahalo!

Last night I wanted to sit in Mrs. Claus' lap and tell her what I want for Christmas!
Martin and I created a new cocktail called the Curtis:
1 1/2 oz Laird's apple brandy (not Applejack)
1/2 oz Benedictine
one dash rhubarb bitters
Try one at Forbidden Island sometime. The recipe's in the file.
Happy Holidays!

Mele Kalikimaki, FI Ohana!
I don't think Ms. Claus/Stephanie would appreciate me on her lap, though -- maybe the other way 'round.
Cheers and all the best for a happy 2009,
David/Kālai Waʻa
