Great find there Buzzy!
Love the pose and background elements.
That is the best Cecilia Rodriquez velvet
I have seen!
Here is a little about her from a book I have.

Found this today. It's a blonde nude done on red velvet. I could live without the French provincial frame, but I love the painting.
Couldn't seem to catch it in the right lighting, either came out to dark or to brite..

I think the frame is very 007ish/ Secret Agent/ Bachelor Paddish. I dig it. Great find!

We asked a good friend of ours here in Tucson to do us a velvet of the Chaino LP cover. Haven't found a frame for it yet, but it turned out sweet!
Man, are these things hard to photograph!

Here is a painting that sold on ebay quite awhile back. I really wish I had bought it.

Are you looking for the old mexican frames? If so what size?
Let me know ---I may have something that you would be able to use.

Hey Leleliz, thanks for the response. The canvas is a nice big 24" x 30" and one of those Mexican ones would work well. We've got a lot of frames we often use on our mosaics, but don't currently have one that's suitable at that size. I'm scouring the Tucson thrift stores though...

Found this one locally....the owner painted the frame gold and there is a little damage
at the top where the velvet stretched away from the panel...
Image is 20 X 30

Nice one Ron! Love the glowing vegetation and her greenish
skin tones. Great shadow areas too. Tyree rocks!
