Just got home from Trader Sam's, Had one of their Mele Kalikimocha and a glass of longboard. My wife had a couple of red nosed zebra's.
The is a cold coffee drink and I was expecting a hot drink- it was Kalikimocha here in Kalikimocha (60 degrees) It was very tasty and if I didn't have to drive home.I would have had several. So soon as I could brew up a pot of hot coffee I whipped up a couple of Irish coffee's.
Cheers

My local Anheuser-Busch brewery makes Shocktop. On their 2-hour "beermaster's tour" they take you into the ingredient mixing room, and let me tell you, the Shocktop ingredients in their raw form have an amazing pleasant and very strong orange and cardamom aroma! It is a very interesting beer, and I also enjoy its taste. I think Shocktop is made to compete directly against Blue Moon. Both are good beers.

My wife CeCe and I just finished our Christmas tradition of preparing mucho tamales. They're on the stovetop now and will be ready to wolf down about 2 A M. Meanwhile, thanks to Arriano for the recipe, I fixed us a couple of "red nosed Zebra's" as served at Trader Sam's

My wife CeCe Makes an outstanding fruitcake-starts marinating the fruit in brandy and cream sherry right after Thanksgiving Day. Paired with my most excellent Irish coffee It is just wonderful.
We don't let Christmas get away easily around our house. Gonna hit Trader Sam's tomorrow night and hopefully have one or two of their "red nosed Zebra's".
Cheers all
