Hang10, don't stop cause nobody else is posting. I don't know about them, but I'm really enjoying your drinking adventures.

Found a mysterious scorpion bowl of unknown origin a couple of weeks ago, and decided to put it to good use tonight.

Cumbe-Maita "Call of the Andes" Bowl (an original recipe)

2 oz. Fresh-squeezed Orange juice
1 1/2 oz. Oronoco Rum
1 oz. Fresh-squeezed Lemon juice
1 oz. El Presidente Brandy
1 oz. Ron Matusalem Gran Reserva Rum
1 oz. Homemade Passionfruit syrup
1 oz. Capel Pisco
1/2 oz. Homemade Falernum
1/2 oz. Agave syrup
1/2 oz. Apricot Brandy
1/8 oz. Herbsaint
Dash of Angostura Bitters

Shake with crushed ice and pour into tiki bowl. Add more crushed ice to fill.

Garnish with fire.

I'll play!
A tikicoma, and no I didn't name it after my user name, it was the the other way around (I first called it a sneaky tiki but found out it was taken).

With friends Kind of a Waikiki Mai Tai or a Happy Talk Lounge (Princeville) Bali Hai cocktail.

The ingredients. (Post horrified comments now).

Yum

aloha, tikicoma

Working on a tribute to a very obscure lost classic ...

The Mai-Kai's version of the Suffering Bastard, inspired by Trader Vic but totally different.

Was just enjoying a nice Makers Mark Old fashioned
at a little dive bar on 4th street in Long Beach
with Crazy Al, Doug Horne & Jungle Ginger

Put some X & the Cramps on the jukebox
Al ordered a pizza, then we hit a check point on the way to Denny's

Good Times!

Sounds like a great time ATP. I will have to start posting on this thread more often. I'm trying new drinks every week now it seems like. The most recent one was the Caribbean Punch outof The Bum's Sippin Safari book. It has sarsaparilla in it which is really different but its a great cocktail. Anybody else tried this?
