Try some Kraken Rum in those and see what you think David.

For a friends party I made a batch of
Orange Peel infused Rich (double strength) Simple Syrup
bottled it up and smacked a label on it.

This is very tasty for many drinks, but it rocks an Old Fashioned or Mai Tai!

Sounds good --- btw, how many of y'all do the simple syrup/orgeat combo, as called for in the orig recipe for Mai Tais? I've never personally drank an orgeat that I felt needed to be sweetened, so it's a 1/2 oz for me.

No time for drinking recently, it's been a hectic couple of days.

My partner & brand new baby girl are coming home from hospital tomorrow for the first time.

Celebratory cigar & a bourbon on the back porch

Congratulations to you and the Wahini Ad!

Drinking a Cruzan Blackstrap Corn 'N Oil to break in a fresh batch of homemade Falernum. Sublime.

Decided to make a Mai Tai with Grand Marnier, Appleton 12, and El Dorado 15 to celebrate my contractor finally finishing the first room in my new condo.

I'll make mine that way, or if I'm feelin crazy I'll use an organic agave nectar instead of simple syrup.

Cheers AdOrAdam!

Just finishing a Koko Brown here; as usual, can't compete with all you proper cocktail makers.
