You have become the Picasso of tiki. Somehow you managed to show strength in this painting. Good Job, Wendy

I can recognize the Tiki, I think that disqualifies it as abstract
Lookin' good Zero!

thanks for the kind words, esper, Wendy, and Mike! I am working on some new stuff in drips & drabs, in between doing some minor non-tiki consignment work and prepping for my bookstore's new look, icluding Tiki Tuesdays! Yes, Wendy, I will make sure to keep everybody posted!
Almost done with the NON-abstract (well spotted, Mike) and recently traded a piece for a shrunken head tattoo! L'il Momo is now a permanent fixture on yours truly~
Cheers,
~Zero

Almost done with one piece, and I started a new abstract!
"Robert" (homage to Mr Rauchenberg and Tiki Bob)
Don't worry, guys... I am ALSO working on my fire piece, as well as trying to find a battered briefcase for a spy case build for TO 12!
PHEW!

Here is my progress on the Pele swap, as masterfully assembled by MDM---
The best fires start in the darkness.
From the darkness, the fire bearer emerges.
The glow has started to rise...
The red heat from the volcano begins to consume...
...a moment of darkness obscures the features, as the offering is readied.
The moon's light calms Pele..
soothing those who deliver her warming fire.
"Come", says Pele..."Open your eyes..."
"I will light your way."
"let Pele transform you..."
"bring me the fire..."
"and Pele will smile upon you."
"for the Fire Bearer will be watched over by Pele".

I think I'll copy the Pele "poem" that evolved through this on the back when it's finished. LOVING your pele bob!

The poem, as it will be in the swap..
The best fires start in the darkness.
From the darkness, the fire bearer emerges.
The glow has started to rise, and
the red heat from the volcano begins to consume...
...a moment of darkness obscures the features, as the offering is readied.
The moon's light calms Pele...
soothing those who deliver her warming fire.
"Come", says Pele..."Open your eyes..."
"I will light your way."
"let Pele transform you."
"Bring me the fire, and Pele will smile upon you."
For the Fire Bearer will be watched over by Pele.
edit: ....I can't spell "poem", apparently.
