Does anybody have any biographical information about a Witco carver/artist named "Task" they could share?

What would have made him a "Witco carver"? Other than the triumvirate of the company founders and designers that signed together as "Wilrongo", there were no name carvers at the company, just young helpers that carved assembly-line style from William Westenhaver's designs.
Then there were copy cats like "The Woodcarver" and others, that took their designs from the Witco line.
