Hey Sputnikmoss,
Thanks for the MCM link to the blog! For me personally my interest in MCM has probably surpassed my interest in Tiki. Unfortunately MCM doesn't seem to have as many roots in Seatlle as Portland. Why did they build Rummers in Portland and not Seattle?

I know! You would think that a Seattle builder would have done the same thing as Rummer did after seeing Eichlers. I don't write for this one but it this site is all about Washington MCM. http://www.docomomo-us.org/chapters/western_washington

i'm hosting a blog that squid is starting up, the address is squid.tikiblogger.com. you'd have to ask him about the updates, specific details and stuff, but i encourage everyone to check it out and post a comment or two to encourage him to post more. i'm sure he's got some good stories to share.

Here is the link to our blog about moving into our first house, fixing up a mid century modern gem, in a great neighborhood full of MCM homes here in Atlanta. I really have to thank TC for exposing us to Mid-century so many years ago.
Moreover, we are about to start to re-install a new and improved Wiki Wiki Room in the lower level of the house. I will be starting its own thread once we get started in earnest. We are ordering the matting and bamboo this week!
