Aloha Nui, TC Ohana!
any feedback on creating your own? my first impulse is to just take the pulp out, and jar it with booze, and let it sit untill yummy.
how about using canned lychees?
I've been going a little Lo-Lo lately, making bacon bourbon, and Falernum.
just dropped some fresh mango in some rum to infuse, too.
let me know what sucsess you have had infusing.

I haven't infused passion fruit or lychee. I have infused rum with vanilla and bourbon with peaches. Both were yummy. I see no point in buying flavored booze when infusions are so easy.
To infuse the passion fruit, how about putting the fruit's innards - seeds and pulp -- into a cheesecloth bag then putting that into the booze. I suspect you'll get the flavor but won't have the filtering/clean-up problems loose pulp would create.

Hm.... great Idea!I'm wondering if the seeds in the pulp would add any off taste or bitterness, but since I am happy to eat it , pulp and all, with a fresh strawberry papaya, I bet it would be fine...Time to forge bravely on, and I'll tell you how it turns out!
