anybody up for Don's on sunday after the HB pier show?
say 5:30 or 6 ish?
JUNE 7 PIER PLAZA
PYRONAUTS (super energetic young guys from Sacto area)
TSUNAMI BLUE (really good newer band from Oceanside)
BOARDWALKERS(celebrating 20 years of Instro madness in LA,also JonPaul on bass)
OUTER WAVE (OC trad masters, and great drinking buddys)
SLACKTONE (thee frickin insane band that will drop yer jaw to the ground)
JOHN BLAIR & THE TRESPASSERS (the Return of Jon Blair, of Jon and the Nightriders)
this is a must not miss show.

get there early.
the 1st band is at 11 am,
and they blew the doors off the Purple Orchid last night.
so much fun. and crazy choreography.
and Slacktone is at 3 pm.
what was left standing of the Purple Orchid, they blew that down
this pier show is going to be epic.
please don't miss it.
get there early for a good parking spot.

Right on Jeff, I'm gonna make it after all. ...actually, as I'm typing this (at 11:00 on Sunday), it's dawning on me that you're already there and you ain't gonna read it till later.... hmm... Anyway, I'm ridin' my purple '61 Stingray down there. Can't wait for Slacktone!

Boo for me, I missed it. My nephew in the Air Force blew into town so we had a big family get-together. Have to make some of these this summer, last year I went and had a blast.

Thanks to a lot of you for coming out for a great day.
for this upcoming Sun at the Surf Museum,
the show will only be
JUNE 14
THE SURF ROCKETS
the show will be from 1 pm to 2:15.
then some of us will head down to San Clamente for a Bennifit show, with
Sufaris(wipe out) and the Chantays(pipeline)

No show at the Pier or Museum this weekend,
but there is a band(The Mai Tais) on Sat the 4th at Huntington High School
for the Marathon.
but its at 7 am. ugh...
next show at the Surfing Museum,

Bump,
there will be a BBQ put on by the HB Elks Lodge in the parking lot of the Museum, with the show, and all Proceeds go to the Surfing Museum.
bands 1 pm to 4 pm.

Great day at the Museum today,
tons of people walking around, that were in town for the surf contest down at the Beach,
and many stopped by to catch some great tunes, by the Relix, and Riptides.
next Sun. be there at the HB pier
