Thanks a lot RevBambooBen & hewey, very cool coming from a couple of heavy hitters like yourselves.
Sooo, looks like watercolor monochrome Moai are what the people like?

Hey, Little Lost Tiki! Sweet! thanks man! Wasn't really thinking Ralph Steadman, but have always been a fan, who knows how influences seep in. . .

YIP-YIP-Hooray!
Very cool!
a wee lil series...
Nice colors
and the rawness is way ace!
You should check out more Steadman
if you get the chance
his controlled chaos is simply miraculous...
and he's neurotic!
Who'd of thunk it?
Keep it up thick!

MadDogMike, thanks man, Beans & Dreamboats is kinda an in joke, the result of a late night alcohol soaked conversation involving a big pot of beans, sailboats, & Rachel Maddow(?), among other things. Even those involved are confused by it.
Thanks again Little Lost Tiki, just "threw" (I see what you did there) that together last night, its still on the stretch board! will definitely do more research on Ralph Steadman.
Anyhoo. . . thanks again

Francis Bacon would actually throw clumps of oil onto his canvas,,
if it worked...coolies
if it didn't,he'd wipe it off...
well..he WAS quite a drunk
but that immediacy and gut level addition
really adds to a piece's intensity!
Sneakytiki works like that a bit
you two should chat
i bet you'd both dig each other's work!
Keep it coming!
