Lushy has a new CD coming out soon: Spaced Out! A fun, dance-oriented album garnished with original disco, pop, funk, and early New Wave-inspired compositions, shaken with Lushy's intoxicating trademark blends, and served up in neo-retro style. I'll be joining Lushy onstage for two shows this coming weekend, Friday June 5th at The Pink Door in Seattle, and Saturday June 6th at The New Frontier Lounge in Tacoma.

As anybody who has heard Lushy's recordings AND has seen Lushy live knows, there are two sounds: what you hear on the recordings, and what you hear live. Most groups are often that way. But where the recordings are sleek and polished and more minimal, the live shows are filled out more with additional percussion, ad-libs, guest musicians, and energy. Not to be missed!
