Join us the Sunday from 5 to 7pm for the authentic Hawaiian sounds of Pulama.
Pulama is the vocal/guitar duo of Jim Romano and Paula Kauapalauki Rudman. They sing and play the music of Hawaii in the San Francisico Bay Area.
Pulama's evocative blend of close, pure vocal harmonies with Jim's scintillating slack-key guitar has been described by one appreciative listener as "like velvet for my heart."
Jim and Paula perform their own arrangements of material including traditional and modern mele, hapa-haole songs and their own original compositions.

Pulama was awesome. It was the perfect soundtrack to a lazy Sunday afternoon at FI. Totally felt like we were in Hawaii. They will definitely be back. Thanks to those who made it. Lopaka and Palapala, it was great to meet and chat with you. Looking forward to your next visit. Mahalo again for the awesome mug! You guys rock!!

Lopaka and I had a really wonder full time at Forbidden Island..
we felt so at home,such an nice neighborhood bar atmosphere! the decor was spot on..Tiki but not tacky! and the drinks were SOOOOO ONO-LISHOUS!
We were reminded of "The Tiki Ti"...the atmosphere was very similar, and the drinks...(dare i say it...) might be better, because of all the fresh and unusual ingredients.
How about opening one in Seattle?
WE NEED SOMETHING THIS NICE in the Emerald City!
