All I'm saying (and this is for all poolcleaners and their ilk)
is that you MAY of had to work a lil less harder if you cracked some books
and you say you've been an artist these past few years as well...
I bet you've never read a whole Art History Book from front to back
and that's your main interest!
An self-education is something every artist should work to obtain
It would help them see where they and their work fit in
as well as allow them to communicate themselves clearly to others...
for example....it's COLLEGE,not collage....

What is with all these pointless topics on here instigating all this pointless drama? Wish I could U-Mod all these waste of space threads right off this forum because its really getting out of control.
I will wait for the pool guy/college argumement to escalate even further because I am sure it will..if there isn't any drama on TC then the day just isn't complete!

i think a lotta folks on TC don't "get" us SoCal crew's hijinx
It's like a Dean Martin roast everytime we assemble....
You kids call it drama
We just call it amusement
Besides bitter Clysdalle
(who is usually latest to arrive at an art show setup and first to leave)
everyone down here loves each other
and highly respects each other's work...
TC is just an extension of our jokin
so please don't get too upset
when you see us bantering about
just move to the next post below the "offensive" one!

FYI...I have read an art history book... It called "The book of tiki" Kirby

kirby...I think you need to step away from the computer...go take a breather and then come back...resorting to calling someone an "asshole" isn't really a constructive way of handling the situation...and it really makes you look bad too...

For what its worth I have cracked open and read front to back many books.
Especially ones about Pool Chemistry and Upkeep.
I took a course on it, and a Final test, and got certified by the state of California.
Not only is Pool cleaning hard work, it does take some brain work too.
not just brawn.
And I would like to think that we are not lazy.
We are cleaning the pools for the owners, who are the lazy ones.
Some could say that artists how ever well schooled they are, could be considered lazy in a sense.
they used their minds to become artists to not have to get a (REAL) job.
