i totally agree!
The worse are the lazy unschooled and unproductive ones...
ahem...many artists HAVE real jobs as well as working an additional 30-40 hours producing art
artist's brains ,at least the ones I've known or read about,are different
we can work and excel at normal jobs
but have an inner-urge to create that takes over everything else.
NOW CAN WE PLEASE GET BACK ON TOPIC?
or can someone start a REAL JOB vs ARTIST thread?
(i'm kidding...please don't)

Yes, I TC at work. So does Java Loa and then we get together in one of our cubicles and discuss. This will make for an interesting discussion today. Thanks guys for the entertainment!

:: hey-O mahalo! i smelt smoke down in the bilge & thought i'd drop in from my day-work (rarely do, as it's far too addictive); however, the night-work (freelance) will have me on TC more often than not, as well as a few mixology blogs, like the revered triple-B's , and the more cosmopolitan KaiserPenguin's , + euro-footy news...
+ btw kiki - have some ideas to run by you for your upcoming website!
 java loa & i have some homemade falernum to share...(?!?)

I smoked it all at work
while TC-ing!
and i imagine kirbs ran out of pool cleaning chemicals the same day!
talked to him yesterday on the phone and all's good!

I see LLT only posted 10 posts today! Tsk, tsk. But in the grand scheme of things, I also see he has posted 4,035 posts since joining on June 13, 2006. That's an average of 1,345 per year or 5.09 per day (assuming only Monday thru Friday posting at work, 22 days per month). So his 10 today is above average!
It also means that he just celebrated his 3 year Tiki Central anniversary!

Hanford, we need a "Boss Mode" on TC. When you hit "ALT B", it eliminates the banners & green background and makes it look like a spreadsheet
