Could not find a whole lot about this place, but if it looked anything like the image in these ads, it could have been awesome. All of these come from January 1969, and many state that it is new, so it must have just opened, located in the Surf Rider Motel.
Also found this great image of Ed Mello performing- he was called the Portuguese Man-of-Song. Love that name!
The Surf Rider is still there, but from google maps it looks like there is nothing original left. I notice that the one ad lists the place at 1460 A1A, but found that the Surf Rider is at 1441, so not sure if the address changed a little, or if the Nalu was next door to it. Anyone got anything on this one?
