I did this simple design to practice my beginner skills. Since we like Tiki Modern style I thought this would be a good place to start.
I finished it with this organic low VOC natural oil that we used to put on the mahogany walls in our last house. Brings out the natural color of the cedar.

Excellent piece Bongo, HApHapHappy to see you carving. You sure thats Cedar? Looks a Lot like Mahogany? I've been Wrong a Lot before though. Sweet Stuff!

Thank you all for your kind words. I guess I will need to get some real carving tools instead of my flat chisel.

NICE, Furious Bong! A refreshing choice of design too. A good chisel set, and you'll really be cookin'!
