Check out my mugs on ebay. User name nedyahr. I just put on a 1967 Easter Island Mug in Antique Pewter and one in Wicker. They look awesome.

Where does one find an old mold? and I think it would be very cool to see some pictures of the process

I bought one of my molds on ebay and the other ones, I have a friend who makes ceramics and she has over ten thousand molds. She went back and pulled the molds off the shelf and knocked off 20 years of ceramic dust off of them and here we go off to making some of them. I started this with intentions of making a few mugs for my collection and now it has turned into a job. It is a long process of making one mug. Takes about 5 days. You have to pour the mold, let it dry, remove it from the mold, let it dry, clean it, fire it, put three coats of paint on it, fire it, put three coats of glaze on it and fire it again. We only have one mold so me cant make but about 4 mugs a week if we have time. After you pour about 5 mugs, you have to let the mold dry for 3 to 4 days. The molds hold moisture. If you keep pouring, you could end up breaking the mold. It is a lot of work. We are not like the big corporations that do everything to a thousand mugs in two days. I will soon be quiting the mug business because it is taking up too much of my working in the yard time. If any body wants some, they better hurry and get them while they last. Thanks, Donald
