First tiki carving, not too bad. I had some design troubles with the body.

What do ya guys think?

For some reason when I saw this, it reminded of R. Crumb.

Please don't take that in a negative manner. His work is outstanding, and always brings a smile to my face. Thanks for posting, looking forward to seeing your progress here. The body looks fine from what I can see in that photo. It's hard to lose the square shape when working from a beam. Keep your tool sharp.

What they said goes for me too, Not bad at all for the first one. just having the guts to post your first one gives you extra points. What tools did you use, what kind of wood is it and how tall is it?
