a simple quick carve, queen palm...maybe a little more detail, then burn and stain
didn't like the way this guy was turning out, so I just kept taking more away. a little weird but maybe salvageable

Hey Scott, Am planning on going to the "San Diego Vintage Flea Market" tomorrow - Sunday, March 10 (which btw, is actually in El Cajon). Was checking out the event on their Facebook page and noticed that you had a write-up about being there along with Tikis. Look forward to meeting you there and checking out all the tikis!

did some more work on this guy today
he's sort of two faced
I didn't notice that the eyes don't line up, I'll try to fix that
trying something different...some simple carving on a queen palm frond

Thanks BigT.....after I stained him, I thought that he just looked like a fat TiKi too. Made me want to carve a Buddha style one. Future project.
