I wanted to show some photos that I took yesterday. My friends wife is quite an accomplished painter and wanted to contribute something to my bar. So I turned her loose on a beach mat and a source image that I had found on the internet. Heres the photos taken over a 3 hour period. Watching the whole progress was amazing. Now I need to make a good bamboo frame. Needless to say she got "drinks on the house"

Nice. 3 Hours? 3 hours...wow! it takes me that long just to figure out where all my paint brushes and art supplies are!
Well done.

Today I made a "shamboo" frame from 1 inch PVC. I think it turned out pretty cool.
