Love Frankie's title, explains the sneer
Riding out the storm reminds me of this story about Gichin Funakoshi, widely recognized as the father of modern Karate:
"One of the most famous stories about Master Funakoshi tells of a time when a typhoon struck his hometown. While everyone else hid and waited for the storm to end, master Funakoshi climbed onto the roof of his house and stood in the most powerful karate stance, to test his strength and determination against the storm."
Maybe you can name him in honor of Gichin.

"Koshi Rides Out the Storm" - Very cool!
No one will know the meaning except you and me (although there are a few martial artists here)

Awesome! Love the soft warm textures in both the background and the fur. I have been following the thread for a while, your paintings are amazing.

Absolutely beautiful, great job Robert! Seems everyone of your painting is a little more alive with expression that the one before it.

Thanks Mike! I've certainly noticed how much more comfortable I am with acrylics, that's for sure!

Nearing the finish line on this one! Very happy with it so far! Adding a few Tikis to the treasure.
Maybe another 4-5 days to go.

That statement is some sort of a paradox!....at least I can't wrap my head around it so early
Can you make out the tikis? The light in my studio is not the best for capturing detail. May take a pic outside today if it stops raining!
