I couldn't find anything on line about the Mack Shack in Waikiki. I really would like to have seen the mysterious tiki forest.

Aloha,
Yes, Tiki Mack's. A mysterious pearl of the pacific.
286 Beachwalk. Hmmmm.
From Arkivatropika.comThe Beachwalk. Later to be Tiki Mack's and then the Hula Hut?? Spencecliff operation noted on the back of a matchbook.

The Hula Hut was definitely an active Spencecliff joint in the 1970s. Check out this Disco line up at the various Spencecliff restaurants:
Including the Hula Hut.
Ah, the 70's!
