July 30-August 1.
I don't know anything else, other than this on the home page...I just randomly decided to check out the website this morning. Perhaps our dear organizers can clue us in!

I'm really interested in going this year, it would be my first. Is there a specific hotel that everyone stays at? I saw that the first year there was a party at the Jupiter, is that still the case?
XOXO,
Miss E

Any more word on this upcoming event? It's less than a month and 1/2 away from the stated date. Maybe it's invite only?

The NW Tiki Kon is in its 8th year, and this year's theme is ATOMIC TIKI and the Friday night kickoff extravaganza is guaranteed to be a BLAST!!!
Enjoy records spun by DJ DREW GROOVE, the go-go spaced-out surf sounds of THE APOLLO FOUR, and don't miss a rare Portland performance of Seattle's premier cocktail party pop band LUSHY!
Be sure to bring your dancing shoes!
LUSHY [Seattle cocktail loungexotic pop]
THE APOLLO FOUR [Go-Go surf space beat]
DJ DREW GROOVE [Far-outeous vinylous spinosus]
LUSHY [Seattle]

It’s Cal Tjader meets Stereolab meets Brazil 66 in a bar in Berlin. Drink up people–it’s LUSHY! Bossa beat flavored alterna-pop that goes down nice and easy. Lounge-y and danceable with hints of exotica and a touch of electronica…nutty and hip…intriguing and soothing–must see live! Lushy concocts a refreshing pop style that blends original samples and Bossa beats with elements of vintage-Latin jazz, exotica, surf, new wave and sixties pop to create their own distinctive intercontinental sound. Most importantly, they have established a solid reputation for originality far beyond their roots in the lounge and exotica scene. Don't miss this rare Portland appearance!
THE APOLLO FOUR

The countdown has begun…Prepare to launch...!
The Apollo Four are GO!
The Apollo Four are blasting on to the scene by taking liberal doses of lounge & exotica, blended with a pinch o' kooky kitsch, and an added dash of rockin' 1960s cool to ignite their solid instrumental spacey surf music base. Absolutely entertaining… supremely danceable... always shaken, never stirred. If your neighborhood Secret Agent Go-Go Lounge had a house band, it would be The Apollo Four!
DJ DREW GROOVE

Keeping things movin' & a groovin' throughout the night, expect to hear the way out & wildest in Hip Shakin' Soul, Lounge, RnB, Tiki, Spy-Fi, Mod, Jazz, Surf, Exotica, Discothèque & Other In Sounds from Way Out! In his non-stop quest as a vinyl archeologist, Drew fearlessly travels deep into the sonic jungles and dusty crates to excavate a tantalizing mix of wax from the primitive, pulsing, wild & exotic to the suave, swanky & narcotic. Grab a cocktail and swing...!
PLEASE JOIN US FRIDAY NIGHT JULY 30 AT THE TONIC LOUNGE!
