Description: Found a canoe paddle stirrer with Victor Lim's Orient of Detroit,never heard of this place. Anyone have a clue? I tried the scearch.

Here is what I could find on Lim"s restaurant. Mr. Victor 1902 - 1970. Though the restaurant did not have a Polynesian decor it was very popular in it's day and did serve "exotic" cocktails. Here is an ad.
This is a recipe for Lim famous plum sauce.
PLUM SAUCE (From Victor Lim’s)
2 T. plum preserves
4 T. cider vinegar
2 T. sugar
1 T. hot powdered, dry mustard
Mix all plum sauce ingredients ingredients together and serve over hot egg rolls.

Thank you Uncle Trav,it's sounds like it was in downtown Detroit, hope the tropical winds are blowing on the west side of the state.
