Hilarious video sir King. Granted, it is intended for comedic effect but they did make some good points. I must admit it was a little unfair to have a battle of wits with those unarmed hippies

My son works at Von's ~ turns out those special "bragging rights" organics bags are just to alert the checkers to be sure and charge the premium organic price

I have noticed most of my rants are about advertising and marketing
I'm tired of casino ads ~ "Easy Money Casino has paid out over ONE MILLION DOLLARS this year!" Do they think we are stupid? That we don't realize that they took in 5 million to pay out that one? The other one a while back was "Casino management has authorized 3 truckloads of money to be brought in for pay-outs this weekend!" Really? You truck money OUT of a casino, not in!

I Am Tired Of... Being tracked, like as everything you buy or even write or look at.
Wrote Legos here on TC just once and not "hey I LOVE Legos!" in fact I was kinda rippin on Legos.
Right after that eBay is showing me Legos on the just for you page after you sign in.
That was the ONLY Lego reference I have ever made on line, never looked up Legos on eBay ever.
People today don't care that this is going on unless it is the Govt doing the looking, but heck
once that info is tracked most anyone can get or buy it from those collecting it.
Not that any info you would collect on me would be a great big deal.
It's like all this phony "liking" going on for your fakebook and Yelp pages, you can't even get an
honest review of a product anymore.
Guess all i'm sayin is I don't like LEGOS! F&#K a Lego!
Don't get me Legos for Christmas!

It is true Skip, Data Mining Corporations that just collect & sell data to whom
ever will pay for it & it's big money also, your browser cookies do
a lot of the work for these companies and track everything you do & type on the internet.
Just one of the reasons social media is not good for you.

I think the facial recognition software that Facebook uses is pretty scary too.

I'm with you TikiSkip. I also notice EVERY store out there now wants you to sign up for their "SuperSaver Club" or whatever so they can track all of your purchases, for the most part I resist. I'm not sure what they want that info for but they want it BADLY because they make a point to ask you EVERY TIME.

Do what I do and give them a bogus name for the savings club card. I did that but, problem is, that I gave my address. Now I get junk mail addressed to Iva Bigbody or Joey Zzyzx

I don't know what pisses/scares me more, the fact that they do so much of it, or
the fact that it's not a big issue to most people.
I wish they would use the money they spend getting info on us to make a good product instead.
Or here's an idea get people to take your money so you can get out of the f%$#ing store!
Now when you go to pay, (I use cash often so my credit infos not out there to steal)they
want a phone number or your zip code!
Are you kidding me, you got my cash, that should be enough.
And people just give it up, here's my info.
One girl asked me for my phone number and I said "I'm married and I don't even know you"
She laughed.
America is getting kinda stupid, the shi% this new generation puts up with is nutz!
I really do fear for this country.

I'm tired of gas being around .7¢ cheaper if you pay with cash or .30¢ cheaper if you pay for an automated car wash!

I am tired of seeing absolutely pointless new threads being started that only receive a few responses, all because the author doesn't spend the time to do a search and/or likes to hear the sound of his/her own voice (or see what THEY have to say in print, as the case may be).

Ouch!
Sounds like me.
I don't use the search as much as I should.

I am tired of 70s era TV shows anachronisms....
Two of my all time favorite shows, MASH and HAPPY DAYS....totally RUINED because they did NOT have blown dried hairstyles in the 50s! How hard was that for the producers to figure out? Did the stars have so much pull that they were able to say "oh yeah, i'll sign on for another season provided you let me keep my disco hair!"...
shhheeeesshhhh!

That was one of my favorite songs as a 13 year old. My older sister and brother used to blast it on my dad's stereo. Thank you for sharing.
