GLORIOUS.
The sun is shining and Summer is here... what a perfect day to relax on the lanai with a tropical cocktail and pizza...
Wait, did you say PIZZA?
That's right! Today, Sunday, May 2 (2010, for those of you keeping track), we've got a special guest on our lanai, The Pizza Hacker, who's bringing his portable wood burning oven and making fresh, hot, gourmet pizza right here starting at 4pm. Jeff will be making his signature classic margherita pizza- hand picked, organic, local, dry-farmed early girl tomatoes with fresh basil, fresh cow mozzarella, naturally leavened dough, bariani evoo and parmigiano reggiano. Some other specialty, fresh from the farmer's market toppings may be available also.
To drink, we've got our fantastic Sunday-Only Island time menu (our Island twists on classic brunch cocktails), the full tropical menu, AND our new 20 Classic Cocktail addition to the menu... no shortage of choices here!
You absolutely DO NOT want to miss this. Come on over!

Not sure what that last post has to do with this topic! Just a quick word that we, at Forbidden Island, have been meeting and consulting with a host of new food cart vendors in preparation for this late Spring/ early Summer. Lots of cool stuff in the works! Stay tuned!
