Tonight at DTB was a special night, many Tiki people dropping off items for the special day of May 30th for MariePalooza . Also in attendance was a visit by the wife of Don The Beachcomber, Carla Beachcomber Lutz.

She pointed at my Plate of Hawaiian Nachos and asked what they were.
I told her, Hawaiian Nachos, fried flour tortias, Pork, pineapple, and terriyaki sauce, then asked her if she wanted some.
she looked horrified, and said, no thanks.
ha ha.

I left before 5:00, so I missed most everybody, too. I was dropping off a box of donations for Sunday & I would have stuck around for a while longer, but I had a nasty headache and actually went right to bed when I got home. Arrggghhh...

I didn't stay too late either,
been trying to fight off this damned cold.
But I had a bunch of stuff from different people,
to give to soccer tiki for the Mariepalooza.
Great to see so many people come out, and donate to such a great cause.

Donn Beach would be 103 today if he was still alive. I guess he got remarried to someone who was young enough to be his daughter.
