The Waitiki 7 is THE best Exotica project out there anywhere! As good if not better than most of the original artists sounded live. Big big fan...

Have any of you picked up any of Deadbolt's records? They're a personal favorite of mine, not necessarily part of this thread, but I just did a little spot about them on my Dark & Tiki blog if anyone wants to take a read and check it out?

I fairly recently found this Russian band called Messer Chups. They're something like Man? or Astro-man meets Rev. Horton Heat, meets Tiki.. very bizarre band!

Haven't heard the Messer Chups before. Great Stuff. Perhaps it's worth a trip to Finland or down in Europe?! I saw they have plenty of shows booked.
