THE HULA GIRLS!! Live at The OC Fair with Big Sandy! Friday, August 13th, at 6:00!
That's right, we made the big time! The county fair!!
So get to the fair early, hit the tilt-a-whirl a couple a times, pet the goats, and come see us play at the Action Sports arena! The opening band goes on at 6:00, so I think we go on at about 6:30 or 6:45...
You don't need tickets unless you want premium seating... but here's the link anyway...

I was wondering if I was gonna go to the OC fair,
as I went to the San Diego fair for the first time a few months ago.
but now I have a reason to go,
well beside all the deep fried crap on a stick.

We'll be there...not sticking around for Big Sandy though, we got tix to see Weird Al! How often to you get the chance to see the Hula Girls and Weird Al Yankovic on the same night? See y'all there!

Anyway...
The pre-party at Spike's garage: (there were actually 43 people in the picture, but I cropped them out)

Getting the stage ready: Big Sandy is in the center of this shot, issuing commands...and of course we had little kids moving the heavy equiptment.
The view from the top of the stands, while texting nasty messages to Big Tiki Dude (who was eating a Turkey leg with Big Sandy at the time)
Representing Tiki whenever and wherever we can!
Our manager, Mike Rouse, who doesn't give a fuck about anyone else but himself, LOL!:
It was a great show, and I am glad we got some tiki people out there! My only regret was that I ate one of these big, western sausages...(which was basically a Dirk Diggler in a bun)...and I was taking a LOT of crap for it from everyone in our band, and associated friends!
But you know what? That thing was GOOD! I ate half there, and then half when I got home.
Did you know there is such a thing as a Tiki Jeep? Have you gotten your Rhesus Monkey's CD yet? Every member of the band wears a fez...and that should count for something here on TC, right? Right?

Glad you guys had a good show, sorry I missed. I skipped the turkey legs but I did get me on of those giant western sausages - damned good!
