John-O, all sound great, but I would lean to the westside nautical continuation (the Galley et al). When you mention the Broadway theater tour, are you talking about something a la the LA Conservancy ones that would actually go in the theaters, or just past them?

The Broadway historic movie palaces tour is on !!
It's scheduled for Sat, Oct 16th at 10am.
I've arranged a private TC tour with LA Conservancy. We can have a Tiki group lunch afterwords at Clifton's and perhaps explore other nearby (pre) mid-century goodness like the Bradbury Bldg, the reopened Angel's Flight, and Grand Central Market.
I'm leaving out the booze part since La Luz De Jesus has a reception for their Tiki Farm 10-year anniversary exhibit later that evening. Tiki-Ti (down the street) will be the designated watering hole for the day.

FYI, the cost of the walking tour is $10 and will require people to be on their feet for 3 hours. We will get to go inside many of these current (or former) theaters but the Orpheum is subject to availability that day. If we max out at 15, any TC'ers not on the tour are still welcome to join us at Clifton's afterwards for lunch. I'm sure most people will be planning to continue on to Tiki-Ti and the Tiki Farm event later in the afternoon/evening.
