New to the board here...
My wife and I were recently married and are looking for a vintage, tiki getaway. Hawaii sounds good but, we like to shop and drink more than go to the beach. Thoughts? Comments?

Waikiki could not be more perfect.
There is more shopping there per square foot than most places on Earth.
I believe there are three Channel boutiques there.
From the Ala Moana Mall, to all of the shops on Kalakaua, there is plenty of first-rate shopping.
To say the least, there are plenty of bars, although I recommend Tiki's, Dukes and the Royal Hawaiian patio.
For vintage, the Polynesian Cultural Center; International Market Place and La Mariaina are perfect.
