Can you cut jade with a diamond jewelers saw? djwirk Tiki Centralite Joined: Oct 05, 2009 Posts: 18 Posted: 2010-09-30 11:19 pm   Permalink Just wondering, a buddy of mine who used to work on cabs said he used a jewelers saw for some stones, figured I'd ask here before I spent the money on one. Not trying to slab it up, just cut out pieces traced on to 1/4 inch or less slabs. Kind of a self taught budget stoner, usually use a diamond cut off wheel on a Dremel to rough a piece out then do the rest with burrs. Figured if a saw would work would save a but of usable stone I could turn into beads instead of dust. Thanks!
