UK Rumfest 16/17th October |

Hi I guess most people know about this already but i thought i would put it on just in case,On the 16/17 of october is the UK rumfest held at kensington olympia 2 in London. The main highlight for tikiphiles(apart from the rum!!)Is a couple of seminars by Beacbum Berry amongst several others,And its also London cocktail week too, So a trip to Trader vic's and other bars is a must,Including the newly reopened Savoy.A few of us have already planned this so anyone else who is going let us know and we could meet up

What a great event,Even though we only spent the day there,It was enough when you think all we did all day was drink rum and a few coctails and then on to trader vics for a couple more!Many samples of great rums were had and we managed to meet Jeff Berry again but couldnt make his seminar on sunday also good to see Martin Cate from smuggler's cove over on a short trip,Whats more Kon-hemsby(Simon) won a bottle of aged bacardi in a coctail mixing competition and then opened it for us all to try.We also managed to buy a couple of bottles of rum for home.
