Looks like good weather to still do things comfortable. Its so cold here that the garage is not a fun place to be.

Hi TeaKey, I just got around to looking here and found your note. It's still too cold here to finish my wood carving.

Question. This is palm wood. Can I sand and varnish the face? What kind of varnish?

This summer I want to finish him and maybe do another one on the other side.

Thanks guys. I broke my arm on mother's day and had surgery with a metal plate put along the bone. I think the days of hammering a chisel are behind me. I'll stick to clay now. But it makes my day to have comments like yours, thanks Wendy
