Well, My son and I went to dinner with a couple friends at Sam's for cheap King crab Monday. It was surprisingly good! I'm sure we made up for the cheap food with fru-fru drinks and artichoke appitizers. The crab was good, you get a lot for the price, and it comes with soup or salad and potato. I left full. My choice for King crab is Captain Jack's but for $12.95 this was great! I'll call and find out how long they'll have the special because maybe when Gecko's in town we can meet for bargain dinner at Sam's. I'm so in!

They also have lobster on Sunday nights. Pretty damn good for $11.95! Now before my East Coast homies start up on us, I gotta say, I've been to Maine and the lobster there is far superior but if you want good lobster on a budget, I give Sam's the thumbs up.
I also recommend The Longboard on Main Street in HB for your lobster fix. Best prices in OC! No Mai Tais here, but hook me up with some steamers and a couple of brewskis and I'm all set!
