Helve, I see so much unused space in your pad.  Did you ever think of hanging a shelf from the underside of each step? Just make sure no one can kick anything of the shelf while they walk upstairs.

Great vibe going on in that bar... I dig it! Looks like you have a good sense of style. Many times combinations don't work but yours do. I'm talking about the Roth/Tiki/Mexican Wrestler/Beatnik film thing you have going. Very cool and well incorporated.
