Those of us who have traveled to Oahu all have one....that obligatory photo of you, your Mai Tai and Diamondhead in the background. If you're like me, you have many. Here's my favorite. It's not the best lit or even artistically composed...but it does capture me as I'm about to enjoy my very first Mai Tai! It was January 24th, 1993....the first day of my honeymoon. This is the moment that my love affair with Mai Tais began........
and just for kicks, here I am exactly 10 years later (almost to the day) in the same spot in 2003. This was at the Sandbar at the Sheraton Waikiki back when they made a great Mai Tai.

The problem with this thread is there isn't any Tiki in it. So, here's us, our Mai Tais, Diamondhead, and Phillip Roberts, author of Waikiki Tiki. After our Tiki tour, November 2010.
