I'm looking forward to seeing Marty Lush & his Latin Livers. I'm a fan of Tito Puente & Perez Prado, but have yet to find any bands in LA that play Latin jazz. This fills a definite void.

Have you heard of Pancho Sanchez?
I don't think you're looking very hard Mr. Hay.
I could be wrong, but I think there is a Large Hispanic population in So. Cal.
I would assume that there is more Latin Jazz out there.
Listen to real radio, 88.1 fm
and you'd be suprised what you find.
especially Fri. Night.
I believe that is when they do their latin jazz night/
