...Williams-Sonoma stores around the USA (& Canada?) are doing a demonstration on Wed. June 29th of "Tiki Pork." No idea what that is, but it's worth trying some free samples, right? (NB- Williams-Sonoma is stretching in a tiki direction this summer, with a new line of "tiki drink" mixes that, except for the Mai-Tai mix, looks pretty interesting.)

A link for those who can't get out of their hammocks.

GAAAAAHHHH!!!!! WTF?! Really Williams Sonoma? Really?

"Inspired by the classic cocktail created by “Trader Vic” Bergeron back in 1944, our breezy Mai Tai mix blends sweet pineapple and tangy citrus with hints of grenadine and almond."

Yup, they have them in Canada too. At least in downtown Toronto they do.

Their Piña Colada mix looks to be a relabeled "Stirrings" mix which is surprisingly good. But that Mai-Tai thing isn't remotely close. It might taste great, in which case they should have named it something else. [shrug] I dunno, man.
