OK, guys, how do you do it?!
I just got my copy of the new album today and barely made it through the first track before falling in LOVE! I was hooked after the unexpected drum hits that sound once DigiTiki (it is him as our captain/pilot again, correct?) makes his in-flight announcement and casually signs off with "Aloha, baby!" THAT WAS BRILLIANT! Those drum hits say so much and really announce the arrival of something special.
I love the whole backstory/lore built up around the album about the Tikiyaki Polynesian Village hotel, too. The album artwork/jacket really enhances the listening experience and allows the listener's imagination to run wild. ALOHA, BABY! is an escapist, transportive album, following in the footsteps - no, make that setting new standards and breaking new ground - in the grand tradition of Exotica music and all things Tiki.
Fantastic job, guys! I will be spinning this disc for MANY years to come! I only wish I could live in the world of the album.

I think the highest compliment I can pay would be from my wife, who is very hard to impress with new music. She was grooving to the new CD barely a minute into it!

Motherluvin' bump!
(because you should never accept a substitute or copy for the real thing!)
Tikiyaki rules! Jim Bacchi rules! Jonpaul rules! Tiki Bong rules!
Real exotica for real tiki.

Real modern Tiki Music
For a modern tiki world.
Because as much as I like vintage we don't live in the past.

I may not agree with everything that Lucas says
On tiki central, but at least he's fighting with the good army.
I'd be happy to go down fighting side by side with him.
Long live Tikiyaki!!
