I dig these two old tikis that i picked up recently. They are palm, one being about 6 foot tall and the other about 4 foot tall. I believe they mounted against something, being that the paint doesnt extend around the back. The seller mentioned she thought they came out of an old restaurant in Beverly Hills. Anybody recognize?
By the way, i've been gathering some more tiki stuff for my collection, as i've been building a backyard tiki hut with my pals (Notch and Kahaka on tiki central.) I'm not ready to show much, but here's a quick shot while under construction:
Thanks for any help in filling in history for these tikis.

asking around, ive had a couple people tell me that this could have been done by a carver from Malibu, named Richard Ellis, during the 60s. ive also received feedback that they probabky didnt come painted originally.
