Another BigTikiDude production. It's a fundraiser for his friend Baja Marty.
If you enjoyed BTD's Eddie Bertrand benefit and his SG101 Convention, this is another fantastic Surf Music event.
It features some of the best local bands around, including TC's own Kick the Reverb's band, the Sand Devils !!
EDIT - that's Ran, "Kick the Reverb" below (and his daughter), not Baja Marty...
If you saw their room party performance at Tiki Oasis then you know it's going to be a great show.

I'll be there !! Baja Marty is one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. He is big supporter of Surf Music. There is a great line-up of bands playing. Please come out and support a Dear Friend, and have fun doing it!!

WooHooWahine and I will be there in spirit (and $ contribution!) Marty's a great guy and deserves our support! I know BTD doesn't do F***book...Can someone in the know make an event post there?

Oh yeah, BTD told me that the band "High Tide" will consist of Paul "Mr. Moto" Johnson of Bel-Air fame as well as JonPaul on bass and Jeff Utterback (who posts here as Don Brewski) on drums.
So in addition to Kick the Reverb, we'll have 3 Tiki Central people playing in the show.
There's your Tiki / Surf Music connection for next Sat.

One last bump from me.
I know this isn't really a tiki event.
But it's for a good cause.
Remember also,
Ran( kick the reverb)'s band is playing
Rare OC performance by them.
and a good time to pick up their new cd.
And Jonpaul and Don Brewski are playing in High Tide.

So glad to hear the event was a success. We had plans for Trevor's birthday throughout the weekend, or we'd have been there. We just made a donation through the link, and will be sending all good thoughts towards Marty and his family.
Jeff, you're a good friend. I know the event fell on your birthday as well. I hope you were able to celebrate a little.
