Hey all I just wanted to ask if anyone had purchased a bottle of Trader Vic's "original rum" from Trader Joe's. To my knowledge I've never seen this sold in a chain store before...actually I don't remember seeing it at Trader Vic's in Beverly Hills. Anyhoo anybody know if this is any good say compared to Bacardi's?

MM.

TikiBaron~

I actually thought it was pretty good for the price. I do like it better than Bacardi, since Bacardi tastes like....well, Bacardi.

I personally think the Trader Vic's brand will be a better choice for tropical drinks in comparison to Bacardi, because any drink mixed with Bacardi will taste like....well, BACARDI!

(By the way, Myers is still one of my top favs)

Oh, and
here's a little something you can read about the Trader Vic's Rums if you like.

Well I figured Barcardi would be a reasonable place to start...I didn't know what else to compare it too....that would be fair?
