Tiki Friends,
Tiki Man Mike and I are celebrating a big wedding anniversary next year. We are looking for a dreamy Polynesian 2nd honeymoon destination: beach, island, nearby Rum Distillery tour, delicious rum drinks and island food. Really isn't that what we all dream of?! We like kayaking, snorkeling, boating - but are happiest sitting on a gorgeous beach with great Tiki drinks being served up - minus our kids or anyone else's . We will fly out of the Bay Area - open to a far away paradise like Fiji. We never get away like this, so appreciate any advice you can lend.
Cheers!
Sneaki Tiki

True Polynesian paradise and good Tiki mixology are mutually exclusive IMHO.
These places in Hawaii might be the exception...

I haven't been to the following but if Tonga Tom and Sherriyaki vouch for it then that's good enough for me. They know what a good cocktail is !!

And how about having them served in Tiki mugs, while Martin Denny and other Exotica music is playing!?

Kauai has all that, except I don't think the tiki drinks are up to connoisseur standards.

There are delicious rum drinks at Dukes as well as at the Grand Hyatt in Poipu.

Not Tiki but San Juan, Puerto Rico is the Rum Capital of The World. It's a beautiful island with lots to see and do.
