It's a night of Tiki-infused Surf music (or is it Surf-infused Tiki music?) at the Redwood Bar in Downtown L.A.
http://www.theredwoodbar.com
It'll be the Glasgow Tiki Shakers, who played at Tiki Wonderland last month, at 9:30pm...
And then Casino 66, featuring TC's Don Brewski on drums, at 10:45pm...
With 3 Balls of Fire at midnight (I'm not sure what their Tiki connection is but I'll figure something out).
This is a great monthly event.

The Glasgow Tiki Shakers have played many tiki events over the last 5 or so years.
The closing of Sam's Seafood with the Martini kings,
one of the Tiki Farm parking lot sales,
BongoFury's great back yard partys,
etc. etc.
2 of the guys in Casino 66 were also in the Huntington Cads, which feat. Shag,
and they played at Tiki Oasis a few years ago,

and 3 Balls of Fire are a bit edgy, but they also have a loungey side too.
they put out a cd, that was very similar to the
Blue Hawaiians "Live at the Lava Lounge"
called "Friday Night at Ego's Lounge in Tx.
