Pele,
Oceanic Arts has tapa place mats at a reasonable price.
I too am reluctant to cut up the larger pieces . Gluing sections of tapa cloth on a firm surface makes the seam almost invisible.
Cheers

MadDog- glad u like the Menehune collection
They actually made the corner unit.

MaukaHale- thanks, glad u like

Pele Paul- thanks

Big Kahuna- I see you like the Aku-Aku stuff too

MadDog- the support figure is one of my favorite carvings
If I remember right, they attached poles or spears to the rounded feet
To "support" the item

I know if you had two at home
They would be supporting your shish kebab skewers

Lori- glad u stopped by
You made the spousal unit blush...

Nui Umi David- thanks Bruddah

Pele Paul- I know how u feel
I had several cut pieces of Tapa so the decision was easy

Nui David- good tip

Wendy- glad u like

Finally got around to hanging up a few items in the garage

Take care all
Thanks for the drive by

Jon
