It's good to see so many photos from the last Rum Rhum Club. That is one photogenic shrunken head. The rum isn't bad either.
Thanks to everyone for another rousing RRC meeting!

My, My, Mai Tai
The Mai Tai is perhaps the most controversial of Tiki Drinks, let's discuss with Kevin Upthegrove.

I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing heylownine's talk tomorrow.
There's no one better to break down the Mai Tai than Mr. 5MinutesOfRum himself!

Thank you Anders! And thank you to everyone that came out to today's Rum Rhum Club. I had a lot of fun getting to talk about my favorite cocktail with like-minded folks. You guys even hit me with questions, which was great!
A huge thank you to Marie and Ian for all the work getting 4 cocktails out to the group - all garnished and delicious (I know I didn't make it easy with the cocktail format). Thank you to Amy for giving me a chance to present at Rum Rhum Club and to Scott for asking me if I'd be interested in presenting at a Rum Rhum Club meeting. And thank you to Tom and Sherri for their help in all those things that make the RRC run - handouts, postcards, stamping passports.
This was, in all sincerity, a real thrill for me personally.
Mahalo!

Great job, Kevin!
It was a fun, informative & tasty presentation you gave.
I didn't realize how much more I had to learn about the Mai Tai and the experience of getting to have a 'tasting history' of the drink was something else.
Cheers, buddy!
