Marlin actually brought it up. Few and far between, tiki still has a place in southeast Michigan. The Arts & Barley Fest (Woodhaven , MI) is tiki meets rockabilly meets tropical drinks meets all-things-vintage. Live tiki carving (Chainsaw carver "Chainsaw Scott" and hand carving by Chad Davis "Beave's Tikis"), market hut with TikiFarm and Gecko mugs, California Artists corner, car show, vintage-wear, etc. More details at the website. http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/239993 http://vreelandmarket.com I've never been there, but I'll take any opportunity I can.
