Don't know if this is California-specific or chain-wide, but Total Wine is blowing out deadstock Cruzan Estate Light 1.75 bottles for $5.99. Not the best rum in the world, but good for mojitos or recipes that call for a white. Not sure why it's discontinued or what will replace it, but you can't beat that price.

But don't bother checking the Brea store - All their stock has been depleted, if you know what I mean!

Cheers!

Bummer, jokeiii!

Sorry if you took a special trip for that; maybe it's just a local thing.

I'm sure it wasn't a wasted trip, though!

I ALMOST did, but then I realized my cellphone gets better mileage than my car. I looked on their website and it SEEMS the only places who have it for $5.99/1.75L are Brea (allegedly), Tustin & Rancho Cucamonga. Everywhere else I checked, it was $15.99/1.75L.

If/when these go for $5.99 at my local store, I'm going to buy every single bottle they have in stock.
